Hunting Montana Wyoming Indiana
M
ontana currently has several ways to obtain licenses for hunting. Rifle antelope tags are strictly by lottery draw, archery tags are unlimited. Deer licenses on the other hand, can be obtained through a lottery system within the state, but offers slim odds for getting drawn. New in 2001, hunters that are not awarded a deer license in the lottery will have their name entered twice the following year, if they apply again.
The best way to avoid the lottery all together in Montana is to obtain a "Guaranteed Outfitter Sponsored License" through Trophies West Outfitters. The deadline for deer in Montana is March 15th, while June 1st is the deadline for antelope. For deer and antelope in Wyoming, the application deadline is March 15th. We can provide you with the applications if needed.
